Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my ABC Wednesday photos. I'll add you to my blogroll. Lovely photos! Hmm, speaking of Alcatraz, I've been meaning to go there one of these days.
That is a really great picture. I visited Alcatraz several years ago and the tour guide mentioned that the inmates could hear the Music playing from the mainland and I think of that often. What an existence (of course they weren't just purse snatchers) Keep up the good work you are very talented. I'm caffeinecourts (Jill) mother. My blog site is www.nannerx10.blogspot.com (very boring)
Beautiful photo! I just wish the bridge were a bit more obvious. It took me a moment to find it. My eyes were drawn to the top of the photo where all the wood is. But overall it's such a beautiful photo. I've been to SF so many times and have never gone to Alcatraz, this really makes me want to go! I can imagine being a prisoner there and looking out that window and feeling hope return to me because the sea and the sky are so beautiful!
